As it prepares to pass the 10GW installed capacity landmark, Rome-based EGP has set out an expansionist strategy that will see the renewable power producer add about 7GW more by 2019.
Like fellow southern European renewables heavy-hitters Acciona and EDPR, EGP is looking beyond its home continent for a profitable future.
The group expects 44% of the extra capacity to come in its most important growth region – Latin America.
