The US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit rejected a petition from Sinovel asking it to review proceedings launched in June 2013, when the Chinese company, its US subsidiary, two of its executives and a former AMSC employee were charged with trade secrets, wire fraud and criminal copyrights offences.
Those charges relate to alleged attempts by Sinovel employees to obtain software code relating to wind turbine control systems developed by AMSC.
