Thirty-six new wind farms worth C$3bn ($2.1bn) were brought online across Canada in 2015, including the country’s largest multi-phase project to date – EDF EN Canada’s 350MW Rivière du Moulin in Quebec, the final 200MW phase of which was commissioned at the end of last year.

Senvion supplied cold-climate turbines to the Rivière du Moulin project through its framework agreement with EDF EN in Canada, while LM Wind supplied blades.
