The order is for 60 Siemens 2.3 MW turbines, and the agreement also includes technical field assistance for intallation, commissioning and a two year service and maintenance agreement.
“The Canadian wind power market is very promising. We are expecting it to grow from today 3,400 MW to more than 15,000 MW in 2020,” says René Umlauft, CEO of the Renewable Energy Division of Siemens Energy.
