Siemens is one of six overseas wind equipment groups that saw their machines removed from the bank’s eligibility list for preferential developer finance.
“Our case was simple to resolve,” says Eduardo Angelo, renewable energy director for the German manufacturer in South America, without revealing further details.
Angelo claims the company is in compliance in respect of the minimum level of components sourced nationally.
