Discussing the group’s third-quarter financial results with analysts, Kaeser said while wind order intake in the three months to 30 June was “somewhat slim” he expects “a significant order intake again in fiscal Q4.
“I wouldn’t be too surprised if that goes just a bit shy of €2bn,” Kaeser said.
Siemens posted a profit at its Wind Power and Renewables unit in the third quarter, reporting growth in its offshore and service operations but revenue decline in the onshore business.
