The German group will supply two 4MW machines for 2016 installation at the Formosa 1 demonstration project.
The deal was revealed in a statement by consultancy K2 Management, which is supporting developer Formosa Wind Power on the project.
Co-founder and partner at K2 Management Per Melgaard, who heads the company’s Asian activities, said: “We are looking forward to support the closure of the remaining contracts plus execution and construction of the test project.”
