"By continuously improving our 3.XM series, we are achieving greater yields for our customers," Senvion chief executive Andreas Nauen says.
The improved turbine offers 6% more rated power (3.4MW) and increases the annual energy yield by 4.5% at an average wind speed of 7.5 metres per second, the company says.
Senvion will offer the model in three hub heights – with 93-, 119-, and 143-metres.
