The project is for Âncora Wind – Energia Eólica, a consortium of oil company Galp Energia, Portugal's Martifer, and Germany's Ferrostaal, and dates back to a Portuguese government tender for a total of 400MW from 2006.
The order includes a 20-year full service contract.
"We have made major industrial investments in Portugal since 2008, with the creation of a blade manufacturing site in Vagos and a nacelle assembly site in Oliveira de Frades.
