Part of Senvion’s 3XM series, the 3.2M114 model will come with a hot air de-icing system in Canada, with the first shipments slated for 2016.
Senvion has already installed nearly 500MW of its 3.2M114 turbines in Europe. In Canada, the turbine will be offered on a 100m tower.
Blades for the turbine will be produced by LM WindPower in Gaspé, Québec, with towers coming from Marmen in Matane, Québec.
