The operation forms part of the deployment of Narec’s Offshore Anemometry Hub (Noah) – a 700-tonne research platform equipped with advanced technologies for assessing wind resource, marine conditions and sea life – which is scheduled to take place in October.
Noah will be installed by MPI Adventure three miles off the coast of Blyth for BOWDS' developer, the UK’s National Renewable Energy Centre (Narec).
