The rejection comes two weeks after Novera chairman Roy Franklin told investors that the company’s performance in the first four months of the year had fallen “slightly below expectations”.
Franklin pinned some of the blame on a delay in commissioning Novera’s second wind farm, the 30-megawatt Lissett, which is now up and running on the site of an old WWII-era Royal Airforce base.
