The MultiLife system, which has been shown in studies to have the potential to lengthen gearbox bearings life by more than 500%, will be run in the 600kW Vestas machine as part of the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change’s OWDIn (Offshore Wind Drivetrain Innovation) project.
