Repower Portugal produces turbine nacelles in Portugal and has the contract to supply machines to the Ventinveste consortium, which won the rights to build 400MW of wind farms in a tender in 2007.
Martifer is a partner in Ventinveste, along with Portuguese state oil and gas company Galp and local engineering company Efacec.
“As of now, REpower Portugal Sistemas Eólicos. headquartered in Oliveira de Frades is a 100% subsidiary of REpower Systems,” says Repower in a statement.
