The turbines are destined for two wind projects in Italy, both majority-owned by TRE&P, which is a subsidiary of Italian engineering firm Tozzi Holding.
At the Savignano Irpino wind farm, in the Puglia region, 20 REpower MM92 turbines will be installed with the option for 18 more.
REpower will also deliver 11 of the same turbines to Sicily’s Monte Mimiani project. Construction work is planned for the summer of 2010, with commissioning to take place before the end of that year.
