Renova reported a R$29m loss in the first quarter of last year.
The company’s investment in TerraForm Global – the result of a share and asset swap deal closed in 2015 – were registered as a provision of R$383m.
Renova’s net revenues declined 6.8% to R$96m year on year, as its total power-generation declined due to slower winds and it transferred wind assets to TerraForm Global.
