The US group’s Power & Water division – which includes its wind turbine business – saw profits rise 7% in the July-September period compared to the same quarter in 2014, with revenue 1% higher at $6.46bn.
Renewables orders grew 2% and megawatts rose 9%. Revenue was up 8% in the period, but 14% excluding effects of foreign exchange reflecting strong international orders.
