Under the terms of the purchase agreement with Marine Innovation & Technology (MI&T), WindFloat co-inventor Dominique Roddier joins Principle Power as chief technology officer. The IP purchase follows on from a June 2007 worldwide exclusive license agreement to WindFloat IP between Principle Power and MI&T.
The WindFloat has been in development for six years, including numerical modeling, stress and fatigue analysis, as well as multiple wave tank testing campaigns.
