Burgos uses 50 V90 3MW wind turbines from Danish supplier Vestas at its site in Ilocos Norte province.
Vestas also handled EPC at the plant, which is owned by EDC Burgos Wind Power Corporation (EBWPC), a subsidiary of EDC.
An EDC statement said the company informed the Philippines energy department last week that the wind farm was commissioned and connected – in line with the schedule set to qualify for the nation’s new feed-in tariff.
