The50/50 JV marks the first direct financing of new Swedish wind capacity by one of the country’s pensions groups, enabling a faster roll-out of renewables, said a Vattenfall statement.
The four projects involved are the Hjuleberg, Höge Väg, Juktan and Högabjär-Kärsås plants. Hjuleberg is already operating and will be transferred to the holding company on 1 January.
Vattenfall is building the rest of the wind farms and will hand them over in the first quarter of 2016.
