Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is providing $150m of construction financing for the project, which will feed wind power to Amazon Web Services data centres. Pattern Development – parent company of Pattern Energy, the publicly listed yieldco – announced a 13-year PPA with Amazon in January.
The Amazon wind farm – formerly known as Fowler Ridge IV – is scheduled to break ground in July and reach completion in the first quarter of 2016.
