Pattern links with Cemex for 1GW Mexico push

The deal will see Pattern Development and CEMEX Energia, a unit of the largest cement maker in the Americas, jointly developing renewable energy projects throughout Mexico.

The deal underscores Pattern’s aggressive expansion outside of its core North American markets; last summer the company opened its first wind farm in Chile, and last month it acquired a majority stake in a Japanese developer, adding up to 1GW to its pipeline.

Mexico
