Wind Minds and Korea-based Doarm Engineering plan to jointly build twin 100MW wind farms at near-shore sites off Jeju Island.
The project sites have been identified, but further testing and assessment still has to be carried out before consent is sought for the developments, Wind Minds founder Hans Rijntalder told Recharge.
No schedule has been set for the projects, but if they proceed as planned the wind farm is likely to use turbines from one of the major European OEMs, Rijntalder added.
