Marti is innovation and research director of the UK’s Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult.
He joins on the committee newly-elected vice chair Stephan Barth of the ForWind Center for Wind Energy Research in Germany, and returning vice chairs John McCann of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, and Brian Smith of the US National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
IEA Wind is a global network of researchers and policy experts aiming to advance wind development in 24 member countries.
