Calgary-based Veresen is principally a natural gas company, focusing on pipelines and processing facilities, but it branched out into power production nearly a decade ago to diversify its revenue stream.
The company took its first wind farms – Grand Valley phases I and II – online in 2012, some 100km northwest of Toronto. Grand Valley I and II employ nine Siemens 2.3MW
