Offshore wind’s eyes are fixed on a floating future

Floating wind’s time has come. Reports from DNV GL, the UK Carbon Trust and other independent consultancies conclude that within a decade, this fast-developing technology could reduce offshore wind’s levelised cost of energy (LCoE) to below the figure that fixed-foundation projects will be able to offer.
