Over a 30-year period, a 10GW build-out by 2050 would contribute $19.7bn to the state’s economic development - $16.2bn for construction and $3.5bn for the operation phases.
A 16GW installation by 2050 would contribute $47.6bn - $39.7bn in economic activity for construction and $7.9bn for operation and maintenance.
The disparity reflects a much larger local content share for the 16GW expansion mainly during planning, permitting and construction.
