The Nordex Group has won a 123MW wind turbine order from Brazilian utility Furnas for the Fortim project in the northeastern state of Ceará.
The German-Spanish OEM is scheduled to deliver 41 of its AW125/3000 turbines, with installation slated to start at the beginning of next year.
Furnas is a unit of Brazilian federal power holding company Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras, or Eletrobras.
