The wind farm consists of 44 turbines of types N90 and N100 and will remain shut down until an inspection to ensure safe operation.
The fire brigade was called when the remote control system detected the incident, Nordex said.
After the fire was extinguished a safety zone around the turbine was established and a fire watch was setup.
"Over the next few days, the damaged system will be analysed by manufacturer´s experts to determine the cause of the incident," the company said.
