Nordex said the placement of the world’s first ‘green’ Schuldschein – a financial instrument used in the German markets with characteristics of both loans and bonds –will primarily be used for the Acciona Windpower deal, with some of the proceeds used to repay a corporate bond.
The €785m transaction first announced in October 2015 is due to be completed in early April, Nordex said recently.
