“This means that there is no limit for wind in Brazil,” said Jens Molly, founder of the German consulting firm Dewi. “Brazil will grow every year and every year it has to create more jobs.”
Molly recently revised Brazil's technical onshore wind potential to 500GW, up from current estimates of around 340GW. Molly believes good market conditions and incentives indicate that 100GW could effectively be built.
