The project will have up to 68 turbines, each with a generating capacity of up to 1.6 megawatts. Plans call for the wind farm to be in commercial operation by the end of this year.
This will be the sixth wind project partnership between the two organizations. The other five are located near Wilton and Edgeley, North Dakota, and Highmore and in Day County, South Dakota.
