GE Renewable Energy booked orders for 637 wind turbines in the second quarter of 2016, a fall of 251 on the same period a year ago, the company latest results show.
The US group sold 856 turbines in the April-June period, an increase of 50 on the same quarter of 2015.
GE Renewable Energy delivered core revenues 14% higher at $2.1bn as shipments grew and customers shifted to larger machines.
