In his first media interview since being appointed, Giles Dickson, the new chief executive of Brussels-based EWEA, described UK government moves to cut back on support schemes as “very disappointing” for renewables.
“Perhaps the most surprising element of these moves is that they come from a government that first wants to stimulate investments in infrastructure, notably in low-carbon energy infrastructure,” he told Recharge.
