The shipbuilder, which has divided construction duties for the job between its Fene and Cadiz yards, will work with compatriot Windar Renovables to supply the jackets for the 350MW wind farm, which will be powered by 70 5MW turbines from French-Spanish OEM joint venture Adwen.
"This is a very important order for Navantia," says Abel Mendez Diaz, the company's wind business commercial manager.
