The workshop, which will include a full-scale load testing facility, is due to open in February 2015 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The workshop is part of Moventas’s service strategy to localise operations to the greatest extent possible. The Finnish company has similar servicing facilities in Portland, Oregon, Big Spring, Texas and Cambridge, Ontario – in addition to a remote condition monitoring centre in Chicago, Illinois.
