The unexpected changes – announced two days after the original results were released – resulted in a greater number of winning bidders and higher average prices, but similar amounts of power contracted and clean-energy certificates (CELs) sold.

A total of 2.1GW new capacity from 15 projects will now be needed to supply the power contracted.
