MRP – which last year said it will stage a phased withdrawal from offshore wind to focus on international growth markets – said it is in the process of securing capital from “one or more investors” to help it achieve its ambitions.
The company now sees its future in regions such as Southeast Asia, South America and Africa, where it has already been a leading force in the emergence of the South African renewable energy sector.
