Japan’s JERA, US-German joint venture Fluence and Australian renewable power developer Lyon Group have joined forces in a new alliance aimed at developing utility-scale battery storage projects in the Asia-Pacific region.
The companies said they will assess the use of utility and industrial scale battery storage solutions on new projects and at existing renewable and thermal generation plants across the region.
