Longyuan's net profit jumps 25% in 2014, wind capacity hits 13.5GW

China’s largest wind-farm developer connected 1.6GW of wind to the grid in 2014, at 28 locations, it said in its 2014 full-year results.

The new additions – out of a total 18.7GW grid-connected in China last year – means Longyuan is closing fast on the installed base of Iberdrola, the world's largest wind operator, which reported 14.2GW on its books at the end of 2014.
