Longyuan – China’s biggest operator of wind farms – generated 4.65% less in the nine months ending September than in the first three quarters of 2013.
Its wind fleet generated just 0.3% more during the nine months, despite ending September 2014 with 11.93GW – a 12% increase on the capacity at the same stage a year earlier.
Longyuan had already said in August that it had suffered from poor wind conditions in the first half of the year.
