According to MAKE, Spanish wind power giant Iberdrola has been knocked off the number-one spot in the global rankings of cumulative installed capacity for the first time, with China’s Longyuan taking over first place with 12.8GW.
Iberdrola is in second place with 12.6GW, followed by Huaneng, Next Era, Datang, EDPR, Acciona, E.ON, Huadian and Enel Green Power.
According to Iberdrola’s end-of-year financial report, the company had operating capacity of 13.209GW
