Longyuan now appears firmly established as the world’s biggest operator of wind power, reporting that it added 782MW at 14 projects in the January-June period, bringing its total wind capacity to 16.55GW by the end of the first half. Spain’s Iberdrola said it had about 14.3GW of wind on its books at the same stage.
