The Brazilian government’s significant support of the wind industry has created the right environment for growth, Richard Pettifor, commercial director at LM Wind Power, told local news outlet Jornal da Energia.
A spokesperson for LM Wind Power declined to comment further on the issue.
The initial R$100m facility is being built at the Suape port, a growing industrial hub for the wind industry.
