LM Glasfiber expands blade supply deal with China's Goldwind

The new deal will see LM Glasfiber supplying blades for more than 1,100 megawatts (MW) worth of Goldwind’s 1.5MW turbines between 2009 and 2012.

The new factory will be LM Glasfiber’s largest in China. The facility, to be set in northeastern China, is expected to be commissioned in fourth-quarter 2009.

LM Glasfiber and Goldwind initially signed a collaboration deal in 2007.
