Chinese wind turbine manufacturer CSIC HZ Windpower has forged a deal with LM Wind Power for the supply of blades to be fitted to its newly-launched H151-5.0MW platform.

The strategic collaboration with China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation's (CSIC) wind arm is to see blades delivered from LM Wind Power's plant in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province.

The first blade sets are expected to be installed in the fourth quarter at Rudong wind farm, also in Jiangsu.

Two prototype turbines with LM blades were installed in Rudong in 2013, paving the way for the long-term deal now announced.
