The batteries will provide roughly 10.8MWh of storage capacity for electricity generated by Energiequelle’s wind, solar and biomass projects in Feldheim, Brandenburg.
LG Chem, a unit of Korean conglomerate LG, will finish installing the batteries by the end of the first quarter of 2015, according to an online statement.
It did not disclose the terms of the deal.
Seoul-based LG Chem’s net sales fell 8% on the year to 5.87
