The €35m ($51.2m) contract contains an option for an additional 90 days of work and will see the vessel deployed to Dan Tysk immediately after it is commissioned in late 2012.
The Seafox 5 is 75% owned by Keppel, a shipyard and vessel designer, and 25% by North Sea marine operator Seafox Group.
The vessel is designed to perform both foundation and turbine installation work, and will be kitted out with a pedestal crane capable of hoisting 1,200 tonnes.
