"We are in advanced talks with several investors," Juwi spokesman Michael Löhr told Recharge.
He declined to comment, however, on a report by the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper Friday that regional Mannheim utility MVV is about to reach an agreement to take a participation in Juwi.
The newspaper said MVV via a capital increase could channel a three-digit-million euro amount into the struggling developer.
