This statement from Enercon boss Hans-Dieter Kettwig about the turbine maker’s forthcoming new model (with an output somewhere between its existing 3MW and 7.5MW units) will hardly be comforting to its rivals. After all, Enercon already controls half the German onshore market, and close to 10% globally.
